Man Drives Through Gate of South Carolina Nuclear Plant, Evades Security


Authorities are searching for a man who drove through the gate of a nuclear power plant in South Carolina and allegedly attempted to hit security officers before fleeing. The incident occurred at the Oconee Nuclear Station, owned and operated by Duke Energy, but the plant's multiple layers of security prevented the intruder from gaining access to the facility. The suspect later drove into another county, where shots were fired, and authorities are currently investigating the incident.
