A recent survey by Truckers News and Commercial Carrier Journal found that many truck drivers have no plans to retire. Some drivers want to keep driving because they enjoy the work, while others cited financial reasons as a driving factor to continue working. However, the survey also revealed that many drivers, including older ones, do not have sufficient savings to retire, leading them to continue their trucking careers.
