Georgia and Wyoming colleges are expanding their commercial driver's license (CDL) programs to address the shortage of truck drivers. Columbus Technical College in Georgia held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new CDL facility aimed at training transitioning military personnel and other individuals as truck drivers. At the same time, Laramie County Community College in Wyoming received a grant to cover the costs of CDL certification for over 100 students. These efforts aim to address the national driver shortage and improve employment opportunities in the trucking industry.
