Bone-Chilling Temperatures for Trick-or-Treaters Across the US


Trick-or-treaters across the United States are in for a chilly Halloween as cold air from Canada sweeps in, bringing below-average temperatures to much of the country. Bone-chilling temperatures in the 20s and 30s are expected in the Northern Plains, with some areas like Bismark, North Dakota experiencing temperatures more typical of mid-December. The Midwest, Central Plains, and parts of the mid-Atlantic and Southeast will also see cooler conditions, with potential snow in the Great Lakes region, while the West Coast is expected to have milder, near-normal temperatures.
