Fatal Coal Train Derailment Shuts Down Interstate 25 in Southern Colorado


A coal train derailed over Interstate 25 in southern Colorado, killing the driver of a semi-truck. The incident occurred about two-and-a-half miles north of Pueblo, damaging the bridge and spilling coal onto the highway. The highway remained closed, with detour routes in place, and a National Transportation Safety Board team was scheduled to investigate the derailment.
