California’s AB 5 law may have some owner-operators running for the hills. The law, that threatens to put the traditional leased owner-operator trucking model to a screeching halt in the state, has been challenged by the California Trucking Association (CTA). However, the U.S. Solicitor General recommended that the Supreme Court throw out the CTA’s request.

These trajectories are at a 13-year low.

Women are landing more supply chain leadership roles than ever before

However, the data shows that fewer women are entering the industry, overall.

The annual Women in Supply Chain survey, conducted by Gartner, Inc., surveyed 116 European and American companies and discovered that women have ascended to upper-level management positions in greater numbers than in 2021. Overall, women compromising the workforce dropped from 41% to 39%.
