🏆 Blue Yonder, the company famous for its digital supply chain omnichannel software, has named Duncan Angove as its new CEO. Angove has decades of leadership experience and has previously held senior positions at Oracle and Retek. Blue Yonder had grown to over $1.1 billion in annual revenue over the year 2021 and is an industry leader in supply chain software solutions.

🚛 Liberty Development Partners, a joint venture between Houston-based Connor Investment Real Estate and Dayton-based Logistics & Development Resources, is planning a large massive transportation and logistics hub off Highway 90. The plans come after the pair purchased the Gulf Inland Logistics Park, a 1,158-acre industrial property in Dayton. The plans include the CMC Railroad, a Class III railroad that owned and operated in the area previously.

Scarce resources and rising inflation are facing organizations to forge better relationships with their suppliers while supplies are lacking. Truckstop.com conducted a survey that shows that 54% of professional truckers would reconsider their job if they could not bring their furry friend with them on the road.

Companionship and emotional support are listed as the main reasons drivers keep their pets with them. With millions of cats and dogs needing a home across the country, drivers should consider adoption to make life on the road a little less lonely.
