🤝 UPS and the Teamsters Union have reached an agreement to install air conditioning in delivery trucks.

Negotiators for UPS and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) have reached an agreement to improve working conditions for UPS drivers. The agreement includes equipping UPS delivery and logistics vehicles with air conditioning systems, new heat shields, additional fans, and air induction vents in cargo compartments. The IBT stated that the agreement mandates the installation of in-cab air conditioning systems in all larger delivery vehicles, smaller sprinter vans, and brown package cars purchased after January 1, 2024.
