Robotics are being introduced to food wholesaler distribution centers


🤖 Food and AI can mix… if you believe.

United Natural Foods (UNFI), a food wholesale company, is inserting an end-to-end automation technology system into five of its distribution centers over the next five years. Symbiotic AI, the robotics company supplying the system, says that robotic arms are able to process up to 1,700 every hour as opposed to human labor’s much smaller number. Other Symbiotic AI partners are Walmart and Target.
