A man trapped in his crashed pickup truck for days was rescued after two fishermen, Nivardo Delatorre and Mario Garcia, spotted the wreckage under an overpass near Portage, Indiana. They initially thought the man was dead, but when they touched his shoulder, he woke up and told them he had been trapped since December 20. He was airlifted to a hospital in South Bend with life-threatening injuries, and authorities called his survival a "miracle" considering the weather conditions during his ordeal.
