Tesla Imposes One-Year Ownership Rule for Cybertruck Buyers


Tesla has set a rule in its motor vehicle order agreement for the Cybertruck, stating that buyers must keep the vehicle for at least a year after purchase. If the Cybertruck is resold within a year, Tesla can seek injunctive relief of $50,000 or the sale value, whichever is greater. Exceptions can be made with written consent from Tesla, but the conditions for such exceptions are unclear, possibly due to the vehicle's production timeline.
