Fully electric autonomous heavy-duty vehicles with no driver at the helm… it happened


After receiving the first National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) approval for operations of this type of vehicle, freight mobility technology company Einride has officially successfully test-run their product. Einride’s autonomous, electric vehicle fulfilled a load without a safety driver behind the wheel to GE Appliances’ facilities.

This successful move is monuments in the future of trucking. Currently, Einride operates one of the largest vehicle fleets in both Europe and the United States.
