Collaboration Between Rivian EVs and Amazon Delivers 75 Million Packages and Counting

Over the past year, Amazon has added more than 3,000 electric vans to Rivian's fleet, enabling carbon-conscious delivery to over 500 cities and regions across the US. With a plan to put 100,000 EVs on the road by 2030, Amazon aims to significantly lower its carbon output. The retail giant also intends to double its European EV fleet by 2025 to reduce expenses and carbon emissions

Rivian's mission is to develop sustainable transportation solutions, focusing on electric adventure vehicles (EAVs) that merge innovative technology with high performance and functionality. Alongside its consumer vehicles, Rivian designed an electric delivery van for Amazon, resulting in more than 75 million deliveries since the summer of 2022, a sharp increase in sales. As of Amazon's November 7th announcement, the company had delivered only 5 million packages, indicating significant progress within a few months.
