The Biden Administration proposed to Congress that the federal government should suspend the federal gas tax for 90 days in order to give some relief to American consumers who are dealing with sky-high inflation at the pump. However, major names in the logistics sector are wary of the proposal, including the American Trucking Associations (ATA).
