Automated driver-assist systems do have an allure. But human error isn’t the only reason there are car accidents. Over a 10-month period, U.S. safety regulators recorded nearly 400 crashes with the systems - 273 of which were with Teslas.

🚛 Used Class 8 trucks were retailing 40% lower in May of 2022 than in May of 2021, according to ACT Research in their publication: State of the Industry: U.S. Classes 3-8 Used Trucks. This preliminary report from the ACT showed that the average retail price & age of used trucks were virtually unchanged in month-over-month comparisons. Federal Railroad Administration grants $2 million to rail-related suicide prevention
The Federal Railroad Administration announced on Monday in a statement that trespassing and suicide prevention grants would be funded to 25 different projects, including educational outreach for those hoping to reduce railroad-related suicides. Amounting $2 million in grants, the goal is to fund these projects in communities where there is a high amount of trespassing and suicide casualties.
California, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Montana, North Carolina, New York, and Ohio are some of the states where these grants are being forwarded.
