♻️ Suppliers of Walmart have achieved 75% of their emissions goal.

Walmart suppliers have made significant progress toward achieving the retailer's goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions from its value chain. As part of the Project Gigaton initiative, suppliers have collectively reduced or avoided over 750 million metric tons of emissions since 2017, putting Walmart ahead of pace in reaching its target of 1 billion metric tons by 2030. More than 5,200 suppliers have joined the effort, representing approximately 75% of the retailer's sales.
