Q1 revenue spike excites J.B. Hunt investors

The Lowell, Arkansas-based transportation and logistics company, J.B. Hunt Transportation Services, released its net earnings for the three months ending March 31st. Its total revenue increased by 33% to $3.49 billion from $2.62 billion the previous year.

Company leaders pointed to equipment utilization as an opportunity for improvement within its ranks but applauded the impressive results - which blew past Wall Street expectations.
