Port of Los Angeles aims to improve truck congestion with $20 million RAISE grant


The federal government's RAISE (Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity) grant promises a four-lane, rail-roadway grade separation. This construction should ease the near-constant traffic over the entire 80-acre facility. The project should also create 300 new jobs and decrease some 3,000 metric tons of truck emissions per year.
