Millennials are stressed, and not without good reason to be. Growing concern about work-life balance has left many choosing to put their personal lives over work after the Covid-19 pandemic derailed the lives of so many - particularly the newer generations of workers. In a survey conducted by Microsoft’s 2022 Work Trend report, 55% of millennials reported they were more likely to put their health and well-being over working for someone else.

The bosses of the world need to start taking these feelings into account. Flexible work scheduling seems to be a priority for the younger generation and can be implemented as long as productivity doesn’t take a nosedive. Many managers cite this as the reason they are hesitant to let up the reins. But in order to keep staterooms bull, there needs to be some compromise.
