Meet the Vessels on the Quest for the Titan Sub

A massive search effort is currently underway in the remote North Atlantic to locate the missing Titan submersible, which carried five individuals. Time is of the essence as the submersible, operated by OceanGate Expeditions, vanished during its dive to the Titanic shipwreck, losing contact with its support vessel. The U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Navy, Canadian Coast Guard, and OceanGate Expeditions have joined forces, mobilizing a total of ten vessels for the search operation.

Notable participants include TechnipFMC's Deep Energy, Horizon Maritime's Polar Prince and Horizon Arctic, the Canadian Coast Guard's CCGS John Cabot, Atlantic Merlin, and CCGS Terry Fox, as well as commercial vessels Skandi Vinland and L'Atalante. This ongoing mission remains focused on search and rescue, as the teams intensify their efforts to locate the sub and its crew before the oxygen supply becomes depleted.
