🇮🇳 India's Strategy to Position Itself as a Supply Chain Option to China.

India is encouraging companies looking to reduce their dependence on Chinese goods to source from its growing manufacturing sector, which it hopes will help make it a bigger player in global supply chains. The government is using production-linked incentive schemes to support 13 manufacturing sectors, such as semiconductors, in a bid to create national manufacturing champions. India's finance minister has said the schemes are "bringing global value chains into India," and that they will enable it to create bulk-manufactured goods that can be exported around the world.
