Ford Announces Layoffs of 150 More Workers in Michigan Amid Ongoing UAW Strike


Ford Motor announced that it is laying off an additional 150 workers in Michigan due to the ongoing United Auto Workers (UAW) strike, bringing the total number of furloughed workers to 2,730. The strike, initiated by UAW last week at its Kentucky Truck Plant, has now impacted a Michigan axle plant. In total, 16,600 Ford employees are on strike across three assembly plants, including Kentucky Truck, making it the largest strike in the company's history.
