Enphase Begins U.S. Manufacturing of Solar Microinverters in South Carolina


Enphase, a leading solar microinverter company, has commenced production of its IQ8 microinverter at a factory in West Columbia, South Carolina. This marks Enphase's first U.S. manufacturing facility, and it comes as a result of the Inflation Reduction Act's 45X provision, which provides tax credits for microinverters produced in the U.S. The company plans to open two more manufacturing sites in the U.S. this year, creating a total of 1,800 jobs and significantly increasing its domestic production capacity.
