Beef processing plant joins forces with retailer Walmart


The price of meat has gone through the roof, and Walmart is hoping to ease that inflationary pain of its customers. The mega-retailer has invested in Sustainable Beef, a Nebraska beef processing plant. The partnership is meant to keep Walmart’s meat aisle well-stocked as the holiday season approaches.

Walmart, well-known for managing its own logistics and transportation, also has one of the largest private fleets in the country. The partnership will utilize Walmart’s trucks, giving them a leg up on the competition.
