The Daily: March 10, 2022
Good morning, folks. What’s the scoop?
Last month, everyone and their mother was talking about the “Freedom Convoy” - a group of truckers protesting in Ottawa, Canada. Those who hadn’t thought twice about the men and women who drive their goods across the continent suddenly had all the opinions on the matter, one way or another.
Earlier this month, a group of American truckers took their cue. The “People’s Convoy” has been circling the Washington DC Beltway for a few days. However, headlines have directed the general public elsewhere.
What’s the latest on the People’s Convoy? Is the American government handling the situation differently than the Canadian government did?
