Toyota Japanese plants pause production due to Shanghai lockdowns

🛻 Toyota is putting a pause on production due to Covid-19 lockdowns in Shanghai.

Sixteen production lines in ten Japanese plants have been paused as supplies from Shanghai are slowed to a snail’s pace. Toyota’s June global production forecast has to be modified due to the decision and it is now predicted to be about 850,000 vehicles.
