🐴 The Pony Express has been revived and is once again in operation.

The National Pony Express Association and the U.S. Postal Service are commemorating the Pony Express' 163rd anniversary with a 10-day, nearly 2,000-mile ride from Old Sacramento, California, to St. Joseph, Missouri. Around 1,500 postal customers will have their mail delivered using the same system employed during the 18-month period in 1860 and 1861. The event will feature 600 riders carrying the traditional mochila and switching off every 10 miles, just like in the Old West.
