Tourists from Switzerland had an unexpected encounter in Death Valley National Park when they stopped to avoid hitting a tarantula crossing the road, causing a 24-year-old motorcyclist from Canada to collide with their camper van. The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital, but there was no update on his condition. Fortunately, the tarantula escaped unharmed. The incident serves as a reminder to drive cautiously in the park due to gravel patches on the roads and the presence of wildlife like tarantulas, which are generally slow-moving and nonaggressive towards humans.
