Chinese authorities imposed a seven-day lockdown of the central Chinese city of Zhengzhou last week, shutting down Apple’s iPhone factory in the location. China’s zero-Covid approach has proven to be extremely costly while Covid cases continue to grow despite the strict measures. The reduced capacity will affect Apple’s bottom line and the new iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models will be extremely limited this holiday season.
