European “buy now, pay later” start-ups are all the rage

Europe has entered the chat. The growing “buy now, pay later” business space has some new European players that have caught the interest of venture capitalists. Companies such as Mondu, Hokodo and Billie are pitching the “buy now, pay later” business model to other businesses, not the consumers.

The B2B (business-to-business) clientele can be more reliable, and it mirrors other small short-term finance options, such as factoring.
