However, DHL Global Forwarding CEO Tim Scharwath notes that the overall import trade trend remains soft, and it will take time for volumes to fully recover as retailers work to reduce their inventories. Supply chain issues and logistical challenges in countries like India are still factors affecting trade volumes.
