Toyota’s electric vehicle strategy stands regardless of criticism, says CEO


Toyota Motor’s CEO Akio Toyoda has remained steadfast on the company’s electric vehicle strategy, despite criticism that the company’s plans are not ambitious or quick enough. Toyota has insisted that the complete public adoption of electric vehicles will happen later than some policymakers think it will, and the company plans on serving their customer with a variety of vehicles.

Toyota also cites that not every part of the world will adopt the same green energy policies as California and New York.
