🇸🇻 El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras win $300 million investment in Target infrastructure.

The massive retailer is expanding its relationship with vendors in Central America as part of Vice President Kamala Harris’ “Call to Action for Northern Central America”. The White House unveiled the announcement of a nearly $1 billion investment in the infrastructure of Central America and nearly 50 companies and organizations are getting involved. Along with Target, Columbia Sportswear, Nestle, and Nextel are launching big investments into the region in partnership with VP Harris. Over the last decade, there have been a mass migration of people from Central America coming to the United States and this initiative could help address some of the issues in Central America by providing jobs for the region.
