Chinese military commissions new semi-submersible transport ship

🇨🇳 China’s People’s Liberation Army Navy has commissioned another semi-submersible transport ship.

The official China Military Online website unveiled photographs of a “semi-submersible heavy ship” hauling a Type 958 air-cushioned landing craft over water. While most details are unknown, the U.S. Navy’s Office of Naval Intelligence has referred to the model as a “Modified Hansa Sonderberg class”.
