A powerful winter storm will be freezing the eastern two-thirds of the country. Traveling in freezing conditions can also pose a number of challenges in terms of vehicle maintenance and operation. Cold temperatures can make it more difficult to start a vehicle, and they can also cause problems with the battery, tires, and other components.
