Alaskan & Gulf Coast offshore oil lease sales canceled by Biden Administration

Despite fuel prices reaching all-time highs, the Biden Administration has canceled three previously scheduled sales on the Gulf Coast and in Alaska. The White House cites a “lack of interest” in the Alaska coastline by the oil drilling industry and challenging court rulings in the Gulf.

The action has removed millions of acres from possible drilling. And the gas prices continue to skyrocket.
